Standing in solidarity

Freelancers Union stands in solidarity with those fighting against racism, police brutality, and the historical oppression of the Black community. The actions of protesters across the country reflect the pain and anger that so many in our community are feeling. We hear you and we grieve with you over the acts of senseless violence against Black people that we have witnessed.

As a labor organization representing independent workers, we recognize the urgent need to address the systemic racism that drives inequality and endangers our citizens. We believe that in order to make a fundamental change, we need to become a unified voice.

We stand with our Black members, the freelancers, creatives, independent and gig workers and everyone around the country fighting to be heard. Together we call for justice.
